Considered by many of his peers to be the frontier of Guam's current House Music movement; JIA, a native of the Island, is currently pushing the boundaries of House & Techno to a whole new spectrum 6,100 miles away from home. A regular at some of LA and Hollywood's most in-demand dance clubs; JIA is always striving to bring fresh new sounds to the crowd, whether it's dropping his signature underground grooves or smashing main floors with bass-kicking beats you can be certain that it's going to be a night (or day) of sheer fun and madness. Originally starting in the underground scene playing multiple desert festivals around California Valleys, it was at these outdoor gatherings where JIA caught the ears of local LA promoters which eventually landed him some key events in the Hollywood clubs. JIA took up this opportunity and never looked back, since then he has played at venues all over LA such as Vanguard, Avalon, Kress, MyHouse, ECCO, Exchange, Playhouse and out of town events in Vegas (Palms Hotel Pool Party), Washington DC (SweetSpot), and Guam. In the few years he's been in the circuit JIA has established himself as the next rising talent in LA and have played alongside prominent & respected DJs such as Chris Garcia (SKAM Artist), Saeed Younan (Younan Music), Colette (Candy Talk), Agent Greg (Recharged Music), DJ Scotty Boy, Trent Cantrelle, Steve Prior (Avalon), TJR (Rising Music), Thee-O (Bedrock), Sabb (SK Supreme) Ralph Good (Spinnin), Norin & Rad (Anjunabeats), and Many More! His stubbornness of delivering fresh tunes without playing club hits along with the chill Island vibe that surrounds him is what sets JIA apart from the herd. Known to be one of the easiest going DJs, his laid-back attitude dealing with people inside and outside of the circuit is what brings him continuous growth.
