Cutting through the masses of young electronic music producers like a knife through butter, J-Trick has quickly risen to the top with a consistent flow of quality productions, DJ sets and stage presence. Don’t take our word for it though, with a support base that includes Tiesto, Afrojack, Hardwell, R3hab, Krewella, Zedd, Chuckie, Steve Aoki, Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Crookers, Laidback Luke, Dillon Francis, Henry Fong, MAKJ, Congorock, Felix Cartal and TJR to name a few it is very apparent that this young gun has got the skills.

Not many people can hold acclaim to knocking Daft Punk off the top of the charts in their home country, however J-Trick has done so. The mighty club jam ‘Jumanji’ on Ministry Of Sound’s Hussle imprint solidified itself as Australia’s biggest record by hitting the #1 spot in the nations ARIA Club Chart. Add to that top 5 Beatport success, lead remixes for the likes of powerhoue labels Dim Mak and OWSLA along with an endless stream of a-list talent, you have undoubtedly Australia’s “go to guy” for guaranteed dancefloor heat. As 2014 continues to drive full steam ahead it is perhaps J-Trick’s next release that is the jewel in an already encrusted crown. The feverishly anticipated ‘Rambo’ with good friend & production powerhouse Deorro was one of the biggest records at this years WMC. Championed by none other than the worlds number 1 Hardwell and set for release on his own Revealed imprint, ‘Rambo’ was hammered across all the party’s most notably by Hardwell during his Ultra Music Festival performance, streamed online to a crowd of 250,000 people.
Falling in line with his production apt, J-Trick has cemented himself as a nationwide major player. Performing week in week out across Australia headlining all the premier venues and events, J-Trick is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most in demand performers. So much so, he was recently recruited by Ministry Of Sound to mix their ‘Bounce Sessions’ compilation alongside SCNDL, including a vigorous nationwide tour to coincide with the release.
These amazing feats and rise through the ranks have not gone unnoticed, with
J-Trick securing himself the accolade of being ranked in Australia’s top 20 DJ’s via the In The Mix Top 50 poll two years running.
As if juggling tireless hours in the studio, holding down coveted residencies across the country an mixing compilations wasn’t enough, the motivated and driven youngster is the head honcho at Club Cartel Records. Dedicated to delivering only high quality releases since mid 2011, this label spearheaded by J-Trick has already received plenty of international support and been the home ground for the likes of Deorro, Uberjak’d, Will Sparks, Reece Low and more. This is a testament to not only J-Trick’s skills as a producer but also his knack for knowing what makes a great record.
The best part of all this is the J-Trick story has only just started…
