The mystery begins with their name and there seems to be no end in sight of the EMD enigma of that is ilo ilo. The unnamed producer came onto the scene back in 2017 not via a Soundcloud (which is usually the case) but by ambiguous flyers in major cities like New York City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Austin. The grassroots efforts drove interest and all around buzz for the brand to get the people comfortable with ilo ilo. 2018 brought 4 tracks but still no knowledge of who was behind them. What we did learn was ilo ilo emits indie pop vibes that can be compared to big kids in the playground like Louis The Child and Whethan.
