Igor Blaska, resident of the MAD Club Lausanne and of the 28FOREVER parties has added Asia to his “playground” in 2009: The Superbed (Bangkok), The Mint (Koh Samui), The Q (Bangkok, Koh Samui), The Ark (Chaweng Beach)... These clubs supplement the already long list of dancefloors performed on in Europe: Lausanne (MAD, Amnesia), Geneva (Bypass), Zurich (OXA, Q), Ibiza (Pacha, Space), Croatia (Hacienda, Best, ..) and also Luxembourg (VIP Room). In 2008, he played more than 150 gigs in Europe! A pace he is keeping in 2009.
LIKE SARDINES IN A CAN
He jam-packed the Arena of Geneva (28 Forever XXL), The Congress Center in Montreux (Montreux New Year & Montreux Sundance Festival), the arenas of Avenches (Rock Oz’Arenes 2008)… We have found him on the grass of the Paléo Festival in Nyon (2008) and also on the Love Mobiles of the Street Parade (Zurich) and the Lake Parade (Geneva).
Alinghi, the International Red Cross, Little Dreams Foundation (Orianne and Phil Collins), MIG Investments (Sponsor of the Brawn GP Team), Moêt & Chandon… His “chic” mixes and his power to captivate all types of publics is Igor Blaska’s reasons for success in private parties.
Igor Blaska also communicates his passion as remixer: six compilations NIQUE (TBA), two 28FOREVER (TBA), 3 MONTREUX SUNDANCE HOUSE (TBA), one four-handed compilation with Sir Colin: SCRATCH THE HOUSE SHOW BIZZ (Musikvertrib, gold record in 2008)… On the production side, he created the remix of the hit of Patrick Juvet “Où sont les femmes” (Universal, 2007), “Bring me Love (2008) and “Be Kissing” (2009).
ON THE RADIO
Every Saturday night, Igor Blaska produces his own radio show on LFM, reuniting 300’000 listeners from 9pm to 11pm.
Igor Blaska started out in Neuchâtel as resident of the Casino de la Rotonde for 5 years. We owe him the first rave parties in Switzerland such as the Atlantis Festival. In 1995, he was named director of the MAD Club Lausanne, a huge responsibility that took him away from the DJ booth a few years. It is no doubt due to this absence and the pleasure to fire up the dance floor that makes him today, one of the most demanded Swiss DJ’s.
