Born in Mexico, a country rich in culture and spirit, Flavio Navarro is the head of Project Sound, one of the best and more upfront promoter companies in the country. He’s been involved in the music/party industry for more than 10 years now, producing some of the coolest events while sharing the DJ booth with talents like Satoshi Tommie, Lutzenkirchen, D-Nox, Mapusa, Coyu, Blondish, Sandra Collins, Marc Marzenit, Veitengruber, Audiojack, Butch, Bloody Mary, Matt Tolfrey, Alex Celler, Tiefschwarz, Inxec, Lauren Lane, Michelangello, Lucca Bachetti, Robert James and Burnski to name few.
4 years ago, Flavio decides to take a turn in his career and moves to Playa del Carmen, a beautiful Beach town in the Mexican Caribbean which happens to be now the epicenter of the dance scene in the country. Perfectioning his DJimg skills, he fastly became a crowd favorite.
He describes his sound as contemporary. Made of all-house, from deep to tech and back, his sets always try to bring something new and fresh for the people, bringing his passion and style to the top clubs in the country, both in Mexico City and Playa del Carmen: The Room, La Santanera, Los Danzantes, Blue Parrot, Coco Maya, Older and Hookah Lounge. Since he came back from Europe and Australia, Flavio thinks he understands a little more about the evolution of music, and took those learnings to practice playing events like the famous Circoloco NYE 2011 with Tania Vulcano, Clive Henry, Dan Ghenacia and Audiofly, as well as Flying Circus, next to the english legend Nic Fanciulli, and germans Tiefschwarz and Steve Bug. His sound continues to evolve and that has taken him to the stage of the BPM festival in Mexico, where he’s part of its exclusive lineup.
