With tracks to be savored, FELGUK has been managing to co-opt elements from rock, progressive rock, funk and pop, what take them to the very limit of a show off, when it comes down to vast musical expertise. Versatile outcomes, applicable to both outdoor and indoor venues, filled with global trends and a hint of topicality.
This multi-venture electro-house project got started with the very basis of a both personal and professional relationship between Fel(ipe) and Guk(stavo) and the results are now just about everywhere to be seen and heard. as in any promising partnership, both come up with diverse and complementary backgrounds, as well as rich contributions; one has got a long time bond with the keyboards and the other goes for strings, one has more of a zest for electro and the other has spent quite a while on the electronica field, coming to results that are all undeniable “full’s”.
Balance is a clear input, along with powerful bass-lines, the criteria’s insertion of multiple acoustic elements and processed voices and the remarkable appliance of technical knowledge; deep melodical beyonds. All from who won’t settle for “just’s” but yet chase further deeds, either remixing or producing their own art.
As to FELGUK, just like friendship, music is actually Art.
Having their releases signed to Electrick Records & Plasmapool, the duet is likely to keep on scoring on the charts, winning contests and being rewarded with remixes by notorious DJ’s on the electronic scene. Their first shot, Palmtree, got signed and remixed straight away. That when these Brazilian’s were only experimenting; now they are pretty serious about it. In recent times Felguk remixed tracks from artists like Daft Punk, Jean Claude Ades, Sasha, Steve Angelo, Miles Dyson & Gataplex.
Their long anticipated EP on On The Move Music entitled “Buzz Me” is due out in September via digital shops like Beatport, Itunes and so on. The 2 track EP is a monster dance floor hit with collaborations by Ronen Dahan (Perplex), Michele Adamson.
Currently touring in Brazil & playing for large crowds at indoor and outdoor parties, Felguk prepares for their world tour in 2008/2009.
