Stephen Scotti, better known as Ekonovah, is a musician, producer and DJ residing in Arizona. Stephen started learning piano when he was two years old but got away from taking lessons at an early age because he lost interest in learning other peoples’ music, but instead wanted to create his own. After several attempts at starting bands in his youth, he discovered a love for electronic music which allowed him to create his own sound and musical identity. Stephen, a former member of DJ duo Suspect Zero, is now embarking on a new solo chapter of his musical career. He has opened up for a variety of acts including Dada Life, Laidback Luke, Vicetone, EDX, RL Grime, Fight Clvb, Joyzu, Westend, Habstrakt, Wood Holly, Lick, Bingo Players, and Two Owls. He has also been supported by names like Don Diablo, Herobust, Laidback Luke, Blasterjaxx, Curbi, Lucky Date, Tigerlilly, Promise Land, Marcus Shultz, Olly James, Bobby Puma, Junky Kid, and more. As part of his collective projects Stephen has performed at festivals such as The Underworld, Trapfest, and the 5k Color Run in San Diego. He has also played sets at venue’s such as LA’s Avalon, San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium, Scottsdale’s Maya Day and Nightclub and Tempe’s Shady Park.
