House Music is a passion, a vocation we like to say, this is what has always driven DJ RORK since the late 80's when he heard his first electronic beats. World global DJ, remix master and label manager, he's one of the true pioneers in France to have lead the way bringing house music to the French scene. After more than 15 years, DJ RORK has kept his refined influence over the electronic music scene in France. His passion and understanding of quality house music lead him to regular bookings at reknowned worldwide venues, spreading and sharing widely deep and soulful vibes, always aiming at touching people's "Body, Heart & Soul".
1988: RORK attends the first rave parties in France where he gets to feel his first emotions through electronic music. Back then he becomes aware of the empowering and rising influence from DJ's over different music styles of the likes of garage, techno, house music... And that's what he loves... RORK then got his own turntables, worked his technique out and eventually started mixing at home. 1992: He works in a parisian record shop which allows him to dig into record crates listening to imports from Detroit, Chicago, New York... This was just the perfect way to get multiple influences and narrow its musical style as a DJ. 1993: For his very first gig in public, he spins for a crowd of 3,000 people at the New Year's Eve party at Palais des Papes in Avignon. The right next day some media create the buzz around the event raving about "an hysteric moment". This really means his debut as a professional DJ. 1994: He joins Radio FG, first radio station in France dedicated to underground house music, and hosts his own weekly residency mixing live from the FG studio. Years later, he still has his weekly show that finally became a most-recommended rendez-vous for versatile and fresh selected groove-lovers, broacasted every Sunday from 9pm to 10pm. In 2000, french talented vocalist Lady Bird joined him.
