Straight out of the heart of Los Angeles, California - DJ Jounce is making some serious noise in the Electronic Dance Music scene. As a songwriter, musician and producer, Jounce is consistently creating original and respectable music for his growing legion of fans worldwide. "Music is my life and there's nothing else I'd rather be doing. It won't end until I get to share this beautiful madness in my head with the world. Get your earful now!" Jounce focuses on club & house music, including electro, progressive, tech and trance.
Jounce began writing and performing music in grade school. He plays guitar, piano & bass and claims to sing exceptionally well in the shower. In 2006, Jounce graduated at the top of his class from the Recording Institute of Technology (RIT) at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. After graduating, he formed Room Trip Music to umbrella his own music endeavors and creative collaborations.
Room Trip Music received funding from sponsor investors and in 2011, Jounce recorded and released his debut CD "Temporal Ascent" on iTunes and other major distribution channels. His CD has received critical acclaim from reviewers and fans alike. "Not many minds would be able to piece together the beats that Jounce has and certainly not in the style that he has arranged them. His talents are second to none and Jounce is a mastermind when it comes to dance music," declared Ryo Vie of "The Rock N Roll Guru".
"A Memory Of", the 4th track on the CD, and Jounce's collaboration with Sha Sabi, "These Walls Have Eyes", have both received continuous radio play on KKUP 91.5 FM and KOWS 107.3 FM. Two other tracks from "Temporal Ascent" have been recently been signed to the official Rock Band video game platform and are now available to the public. The music video for "Ooh La La", a collaboration with Sherryce, is also slated for release soon.
Jounce has enjoyed several residencies and entertained large audiences in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and around the globe for his international fans. In 2011, Jounce DJ'd at the Official Paley Center Grammy Party in Beverly Hills. In 2012, he was the headlining DJ for a 54th Grammy Awards After-Party at Ecco in Hollywood. After a busy 2011 in the studio, Jounce is getting back into the nightclub circuit. He's already opened for Andres Fresko (signed with Ultra Music) on the World Gravity Tour and is scheduled to perform at some of LA and Hollywood's largest nightclubs. Stay tuned for show announcements.
Jounce has been a featured guest on VMas TV, with over 6 million viewers, on Radio Seoul's DTF Show that aired on 1650 AM in Los Angeles in early 2012, and on the ArtistFirst World Radio Network with Corey King. He's been a featured artist on MadeLoud.com and has also been interviewed by the Examiner in Los Angeles.
