Description
Anton Makdah has been involved in the music industry for the past 10 years, spinning records since the age of 16, having landed his first residency at the age of 18 he has been surrounded by music ever since.
After moving to New York to finish his sound engineering degree, where he got his first taste in house music production from being in the studios with NY house legends. Anton later on moved back to his home town to open his commercial recording studio Pur Sound, a place that has become a true creative outlet for the future generation of house producers in Montreal.
Anton's skills and achievements far exceed his reputation of a true house music purist, from spinning at underground loft parties to rocking big clubs. He has played everywhere from NYC to landing residencies in Dubai, taking his crowds into a deep bottom heavy percussive nirvana. His sets are slowly built drawing you deeper and further into the darker side of house, teasing with his own edited mixes of mind-bending tracks building the energy, only to be unleashed at memorable roof raising moments that are burnt into everybody's memories. His sets keep his crowds captive till the early hours of the morning taking
them through rhythmic journeys that never entirely abandon the soulful elements that make his style of djing and producing unique.
His persistence and patience keeps him busy in his studio when he's not spinning. Anton is also an established producer/ sound engineer with several tracks already making waves in the music community and there is no doubt that he
will write an influential part in the book of house music history.
