Dan Klokow grew up in Chicago, The Home of House music.  Music was a big part of his childhood.  Dan’s mom played the piano and organ in church, and his brother and sisters all played instruments, so there was always something musical playing throughout the house.  Dan’s early love for Classical music quickly turned to House and Drum & Bass around the age of 16.  Through the Chicago Rave scene in the mid 90s, his passion for dance music was solidified.   Picking up his first belt driven Gemini’s and a Vestax mixer his obsession for vinyl ensued.  After his first few gigs with ChicagoGroove, Dan began playing house parties and spinning various clubs in downtown Chicago. Now, with over 12 years under his belt spinning in Chicago and Miami, DAN.K’s own style and productions are coming to light.   Currently, he now focuses on his own tracks/remixes and has a never ending love for House music.   Be on the lookout for DAN.K and his releases on RaMBunktious Records (Miami), Dualism Records, Re:Sound Records UK, and many others.   Some big things are coming from this house head in the near future!
