Description
From the moment Bakman picked up his very first saxophone at the age of eleven, he had the attention of everyone around him, no one ever knew this was merely a precursor of what was to come in his career as an Electronic Music DJ.
Though saxophone playing quickly turned into a passion for the piano and guitar, it may have been unbeknownst to many of what was to come. The rest would be an exciting and fast paced entrance into the world of music. At the age of twenty, Bakman had already achieved what to many in the music industry looked to as admirable, he was signed under a division of Universal and playing guitar in a hip-hop rock band on tour. Within his first year he named Mudvayne, Cypress Hill, Bone Thugs and Harmony, LMFAO and Devon the Dude as some of countless bands he would open for.
Though the world of touring was exciting, Bakman quickly found himself fascinated by three words: Electronic Dance Music. Bakman dove into the EDM world and became a known, self-taught DJ faster then anyone expected. Bakman quickly rose to the top, playing in Festivals all across the nation (Winter music conference, Sundance, Blast off, Burning man, Fetish and fantasy ball, Love festival Arizona, Hawaii & Mexico) where herds of loyalists would venture to hear unforgettable sounds and witness passion, enthusiasm and a unique talent.
Soon, Bakman was playing nightclubs across the nation (The joint at hard rock, Bagatelle beach, Wax rabbit, Stingaree, Martini ranch, Bombay beach club, Elixir). Whether he can be found in the studio or behind his cdj’s on a festival stage, Bakman has proven to be a force to be reckoned with playing with some of the best like Junior Sanchez, AC Slater, DJ craze, DJ Reza, Flosstradomus, Darude, Scooter & Lavelle, Derrick Anthony and Kristina Sky.
With releases on Brobot Records and Saturday Night Sessions, Bakman continues to rise in the charts. Having laid Guitars on Steve Angello, an21, and the Size Records Family’s tracks set to release this year, this is yet another precursor to the career that is yet to follow for this young dominate DJ of EDM.
