Late 2008, French electro was all about banging beats and distortion when Anoraak flashed across the musical landscape with his extra-terrestrial romantic synth-pop. His first EP "Nightdrive With You" gathers a selection of early works that smell like hot sand and tickle the sharpest ears. The buzz was growing and 2009 was spent on the road and in the air. NYC, Paris, Moscow, Sydney, London, Berlin... A year full of live shows and dj sets, between which the boy from Nantes - and proud member of the Valerie collective - still managed to produce a few well-picked remixes for Junkie XL, Circlesquare, Metronomy and Mika. While launching his new live act, now with a drummer on stage, Anoraak is currently finishing the recording of his first full length effort, due August 2010. Expect futuristic sunshine pop, etheral songwriting and italo-disco!
