The pioneer of open format in Miami, he has the know-how to switch musical gears seamlessly, rocking clubs around the beach and beyond. DJ Affect hasn’t wasted a moment in his career. His most prominent work was with Pitbull producing the track “Pause,” a platinum record that rapidly became a Zumba favorite. But he’s been an innovator and hustler since day one. At the age of 15, a twist of fate gave him his break; when a DJ failed to show to Club Cream, the club owner gave an eager Affect a chance to spin. He stunned the club, and swiftly became known as a “DJ prodigy” in South Beach. With a start like that, it’s no surprise that he’s been making waves ever since. As of late, he’s shared the stage with the likes of DJ Chuckie, Carnage, and Skrillex, and played the hottest clubs in places like Vegas, NYC, Austin, and LA. DJ Affect has a long working relationship with Timbaland, and has showcased his hip hop mastery alongside Notorious B.I.G, Big Pun, Diddy, Mobb Deep, DJ Clue, and Funkmaster Flex. P Diddy, recognizing talent when he sees it, has DJ Affect on hand as the musical curator for all of his events. It’s no wonder that a number of corporate clients have sought after the Affect brand; with a number of endorsements, sponsorships, and affiliations to his name, Affect’s reputation and vast appeal speak for itself. Not one to be consumed by his own success, Affect is set to launch a series of internet radio stations called Affectiveradio.com, giving a groundbreaking platform to up-and-coming DJs and artists.
