Every September 16th weekend, Las Vegas invites visitors from around the world to celebrate Mexico's Independence from Spain in 1810. September 16th may be the official holiday, but the party starts early in Vegas and lasts through the weekend. Hotel bars, casinos and pool parties all get into the El Grito festivities with world-class live performances, cuisine and festivities in honor of Mexican Independence.
