Samson Details

SAMSON is a DJ out of Southwest Florida currently serving as resident and host at LOCOMOTION, the weekly Saturday night party on The Veranda at Seven Nightclub. He began DJing in 2007 and his past residencies include The Vision Terrace, Voda, Sway, Privilege, and Shark's Cavern. Samson came to love Hip Hop and Rock n Roll in early adolescence before finding Electronic Dance Music at age 15 by way of The Chemical Brothers. He soon immersed himself in the Breakbeat culture of Tampa Bay while spending long mornings on the dance floors of the scene's underground parties. Moving to Gainesville, FL in 1998, he honed his taste for House music at the widely respected Simon's nightclub.

Samson's style behind the decks glides through Tech House, Deep House, Funky House, Progressive, Tribal, and Techno. His signature sound is characterized by driving rhythm, sex appeal, percussion, deep undertones and continuous groove. Versatility of genre along with strategic use of vocals allow him to deliver in any setting while maintaining his underground sensibility.
