Since its founding in 1994, Sónar has held 25 editions of the festival in Barcelona and another 74 events in 33 cities around the world. The flagship event in Barcelona embodies the event at its core which is to be the “pulse of the current electronic landscape”. During Sónar by Day, the festival features a huge music program along with its own tech conference called Sónar+D. At night, the event moves to a massive venue that easily makes this Spain's largest electronic festival. With its unique format and ever-changing style, Sonar continues to redefine the festival landscape.

Corsica Studios (previously known as the Corsica Arts Club) is a medium-sized, two-roomed music space located in close proximity to Elephant & Castle tube station in south-east London. A rotating cast list of promoters and labels stage events at the venue each Friday and Saturday. The music pushed at the club is rooted in house, techno, electro and disco, but often incorporates dubstep, drum & bass and bass music. Open since 2005, the club is known for its intimate, urban atmosphere and solid soundsystems.

A shelter for dancers & music lovers, DJOON has been a first step in Paris for many artists, bringing artists such as Lil' Louis, Kerri Chandler, Black Coffee, Dixon, Âme, Levon Vincent, The Martinez Brothers to France (and sometimes Europe) for the very first time, and playing a key role in bringing the afro-house sound to the old continent. Borrowing its name from a Persian word that can be translated to "soul", Parisian house music temple Djoon has been tirelessly defending soulful music in it's largest sense for over a decade, bringing over emerging talents and timeless legends alike for the delight of its eclectic and forward thinking crowd.

This industrial-ish space in Tower Hamlets was indeed used to operate as a working pickle factory, but after being used for foodie pop-ups and exhibitions in 2013, Oval Space have fully revamped the intimate venue as a club and live music space. Expect an alternative and esoteric programme, and be ready for leftfield but thoroughly banging DJ sets from underground heroes and mind-bending arty bands.

Razzmatazz is without any doubt one of the most popular clubs amongst both locals and the internationals.  Located in the Poble Nou district of Barcelona, in a unique building associated with the city's industrial landscape, Razzmatazz is arguably Barcelonas one and only super club.
 
Razzmatazz has 5 different club rooms, all with their own bars, housed in one vast warehouse-style building.  Each room is so distinct, you'll feel like you could be in your own club all night. If you choose to venture out of one room, you could find yourself lost in a maze of confusing corridors and hot, heavy dancefloors. 
 
Razzmatazz offers you differing types of music and atmospheres. Downstairs you will find the Indie Rock area, upstairs the techno and two more chill-out spaces with pop and electro music. Each new week, Razzmatazz incorporates the emerging and upcoming musical trends fresh hot on the scene into its band programmes. Griessmühle can easily be reached with the S-Bahn using the ring until the stop Sonnenallee. Like so many other summer location, this Neukölln institution unites a location by the waterside (in this case the Neukölln Boat Channel) with the charme of an old factory ground - an old pasta factory.

However, Griessmühle sets itself apart from all other Berlin open air clubs with the enlarged schedule of events that they host. Next to crazy parties and chilly-relaxed after hour sessions, Tuesdays see the "Pong Club" with a ping pong night. Mühlenmarkt, a flea market, is held every first Friday of the month between 03:00 pm and 09:00 pm and boats next to vendors of second-hand clothing, street food, arts & craft and rummage. The calendar is completed with spontaneaous events - now who can beat that?

Tama Sumo (real name Kerstin Egert) is a German DJ and producer who has been called "one of the world's finest house and techno DJs whose success and acclaim stem only from her skills as a selector". She is signed to the Ostgut Ton label and is a resident DJ at Berghain. She tours extensively, DJing at clubs and music festivals throughout the world.

Tama Sumo was born in the village of Mühlhausen, Bavaria and studied theater and movie science in Erlangen. She was first exposed to acid house music when visiting Nürnberg. She moved to Berlin in 1990. Despite enjoying music, buying many records, and making cassette tapes for her friends, she had no plans to become a DJ. However, her friend Holger booked a set for both of them at the queer bar Drama, where he was a regular DJ. Tama Sumo's first set at Drama bar was in 1993. There she started out playing mainly New York style vocal House Music. Later she became a regular at Café Moskau, playing the gay Saturday parties there together with Holger. In 1994 they began playing at Tresor and she became a resident DJ there for the next 10 years. In 2001 she began playing the Ostgut Dance With The Aliens parties, and when Ostgut was succeeded by the Panorama Bar & Berghain, she subsequently became a resident DJ there. She adopted the Tama Sumo pseudonym in 2004. Experiencing an increase in international bookings from 2007 on, she decided to give up her day job in Human Resources. Her style is varied, including House, Techno, Jazz, Disco, Broken Beat, Soul, Funk and Afro Beat.

She was a co-owner of the now-defunct record label Süd Electronic, founded by DJ Lakuti and South African producer Portable.

She cites her wife Lerato Khathi, known as DJ Lakuti, as a major inspiration for her music. Another major music inspiration is her long-time friend and collaborator, Prosumer.

Their real names may be Grzegorz and Wojciech, but therehave been plenty of others along the way: early DJ sets as Deeop and Ketiov,champions of the underground as 3 Channels, or simply ‘Greg and Voitek’ totheir nearest and dearest. But no doubt, you’ll know them best as CATZ N’ DOGZ.

The duo’s refreshing take ondancefloor music has, in the last 12 months, propelled them into the limelightlike never before. Perhaps it was getting the remix treatment from theincomparable Carl Craig and rising star Tanner Ross on their most recentMothership release. Or the A&R home runs they scored with Pets Recordings,debuting Eats Everything’s smash “Entrance Song” and curating remixes fromMaceo Plex, Axel Boman and KiNK. Or maybe it was their first appearance inResident Advisor’s hallowed Top 100 DJ Poll. In any and all cases, the truth isclear: Catz N’ Dogz are well n’ truly at the top of their game.

It began in 2003, when best friends Greg and Voitek hosted their first clubnight in their home town Szczecin, Poland. Back then they were known as 3Channels, and they developed organically from there, into their first clubresidency, and into a regular hosting slot with Szczecin’s ABC Radio. As 3Channels amassed a loyal legion of fans, they broadened their creative pursuitsagain, and production was their next natural outlet. Their techno-centrictracks swiftly caught the attention and then joined the rosters of some of themost respected underground dance labels in the world: Trapez, Crosstown Rebels,Pokerflat, Boxer, Leena, Trenton, as well as the boys’ own budding imprintChannels Rec. The instant that Claude VonStroke heard 3 Channels’ red-hot clubrecords, he snapped the twosome up for his Dirtybird label; there they remixedClaude’s infamous anthem “Who’s Afraid Of Detroit?” for a highly limited (andhighly sought-after) one‐sided vinyl release, followed by thedancefloor-destroyer Chicken Affair EP, which appealed to the broadest spectrumof underground house and techno DJs.

By 2008, the boys had completely evolved, reemerging with a looser,freewheeling house sound, a hybrid masterpiece of a debut album, Stars of Zoo,and a new name: Catz n’ Dogz. The pair integrated deep house signatures withoutlosing sight of their techno roots, all the while exploring lush, organicsoundscapes. Their combination of meticulous, cinematicatmospheres, minimaltechno arrangements and live instrumentation spawned a string of acclaimedreleases for Sentence Records, Get Physical and Dirtybird’s sister labelMothership.

Catz n’ Dogz’ sophomore album took an entire year to create, but it proved tobe more than worth the wait: Escape from Zoo found the guys boldly leaping overthe barriers in 2010, wildly roaming the terrain and straying further andfurther from convention. Escape from Zoo freely explored the intertwined vinesof street bass, disco, R&B, deep house, hip-hop, and it blossomed throughcollaborations with heavy hitters dOP, Claude VonStroke and Jazzanova’s PaulRandolph.

Even as the rapturous response to Escape from Zoo launched them headlong into aheavy period of touring, live shows and festivals at hotspots around the globe,the boy endeavoured to further develop the scope of the Catz n’ Dogz universe.They launched Pets Recordings with the distinct aim of bringing Poland’sproduction talent to an international audience, they kicked off the Petcastpodcast series, and took their label showcases on the road, establishingresidencies at Berlin’s connoisseur clubs Watergate and Farbfernseher,alongside regular appearances in Szczecin and various other Polish cities.

Whether you’re charmed by their bass-heavy, colourful and always groove-ladenDJ sets, drawn in by their arresting live show, weaving your your way throughtheir illustrious output as producers, or delving into the magical tunescurated from their close network of friends, Grzegorz and Wojchiech (or Greg n’Voitek) are simply two of the hottest house Catz (n’ Dogz) on the scene today.

Mount Kimbie is an English electronic music duo consisting of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos. Formed in 2008, the duo departed from the musical template of the UK dubstep scene, releasing early EPs Maybes and Sketch on Glass to critical praise the following year. Their debut album Crooks & Lovers in 2010 received further acclaim.

The band signed with Warp Records in 2012, and released their second album Cold Spring Fault Less Youth the following year and third album Love What Survives in September 2017. They have collaborated with artists such as James Blake, King Krule, and Micachu.
