Pirate Radio Details

Pirate Radio is a new cross-genre EDM project comprised of Brian Taylor & Karan Mehra that combines house, trance, progressive and electro with live electric guitar riffs and solos.

The project began with a serendipitous meeting in NYC after Karan and Brian moved to the city and set out to explore the indigenous musical landscape.  Their collaboration organically evolved from impromptu late-night acoustic guitar jams into even more late-night electronic house parties, with Karan on the decks and Brian on the electric guitar. Karan favors tracks by Eric Prydz, Jeremy Olander, Above & Beyond, Mat Zo, Matt Lange and Zedd, while classic guitar heroes like John Petrucci, Shawn Lane, and Les Paul heavily influence Brian's sound to create a unique fusion that keeps audiences dancing for hours.
