Larry Eugene Carlton (born March 2, 1948) is an American guitarist who built his career as a studio musician in the 1970s and 1980s for acts such as Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell. He has participated in thousands of recording sessions, recorded on hundreds of albums in many genres, for television and movies, and on more than 100 gold records. He has been a member of the jazz fusion group the Crusaders, the smooth jazz band Fourplay, and has maintained a long solo career.

Located inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, Blue Note Hawaii features a year-round lineup of musical entertainment – from local talent to international sensations. Opened in January of 2016, the venue underwent an extensive, multi-million-dollar revitalization to offer a brand-new performance space in the heart of Hawaii’s most famed beach resort destination.

The 9,000 square-foot, 326-seat facility showcases nightly two performances in an intimate setting - seven days a week, 365 days a year. A contemporary gift shop is also on site, including a dedicated location for musical acts to hold autograph sessions after their shows. Guests have the opportunity to dine at the venue, where a full-service restaurant and bar highlights the culinary talents of Chef Tony Avilla. Additionally, the venue is available for private event bookings and weddings.

The Ludlow Garage began life as an automobile shop and later became a music venue located in the Clifton neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The original music venue hosted concerts from September, 1969 through January, 1971. The original proprietor of the music venue was ex-City Council member Jim Tarbell.
