Joey Mays is a 19 year old singer/songwriter/producer/DJ out of New Jersey. Performing and writing music from the age 7, and armed with 12 years of classical training - he can not be dropped into one genre. Born into a musically driven family, Joey Mays has an extremely diverse musical background. With everyone in the family constantly pushing their musical skills as far as they could go, he was brought along for the ride. As the years went by, his sights fell on dance music. Being introduced to the freedom of electronic music, opened Joey’s eyes to a whole new world of sound. As a full time college student as well as a student at Dubspot NYC, he continues to compose music and perform live shows around the tri-state area where he debuts all of his unreleased tracks and pursues his dreams a musician.
