Chris Soul Details

Chris Soul's career in music was almost predestined from the young age of 14 when he was introduced to "House Music." Full of intrigue, curiosity coupled with an outgoing personality, Chris began to frequent clubs where he could get his house music fix. Needless to say, the seed was planted, and the desire to DJ and create music was born.

During New York's evolution of underground House music and Techno in the early to mid 90's, Chris received inspiration from such artists such as; Victor Calderone, Danny Tenaglia, Peter Rauhofer, Eric Morillo, lil Louie Vega and Jr. Vasquez in such iconic venues as Limelight, Soundfactory, Twilo and Palladium just to mention a few…

Since then, Chris has honed his talent and skills through many years of DJing numerous venues in a variety of cities around the globe and earned the privilege and respect to play along side such world class DJ's as Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, Paul Ritch, Jr Vasquez, Felix da House Cat, DJ Sneak, Carlos Manaca, Peter Bailey, Richie Santana, That Kid Chris, and plenty more…

Domestic and abroad, Chris has since gone through his evolution of finding an eclectic style and has taken his career to the next level by creating his own music and collaborating with such producers as Hector Couto, D-Formation, Rob Mirage, Richie Santana and Dj Chus. With Productions on Defected, Stereo Recordings, Strictly Rhythm, Stealth, Nervous Records, SK Supreme, 1605, Beatfreak and Hot Fingers to name a few.
